Job Title: Delivery Driver

Eazy Express is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate and Drive: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide professionalism in customer service.
  • Information Relay: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods.
  • Navigation: Use maps and other trip planning aids.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation/travel experience.
  • Security Clearance: Possess a criminal record check, bondable, driving record check (abstract), drug test, and basic security clearance.
  • Vehicle and Licence: Have a valid driver's licence and a vehicle supplied by the employer.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess steel-toed safety boots, a cellular phone, and gloves.
