About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at 9120459 Canada Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and maintenance of the building, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the building's appearance and integrity.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires regular lifting, bending, and standing, as well as the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Work Conditions: The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
