Job Title: Financial Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Clerk to join our team at TDOT. As a Financial Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 35 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
