What it's like to be a Northbridge Underwriter

Our Underwriters work closely with our Brokers to create customized Professional Liability solutions for their clients. They collaborate with our Actuarial Pricing teams to ensure that we are writing the right risks. This involves liaising with other Underwriters and Corporate Underwriting teams.

They are passionate about building strong relationships with our Broker partners and utilize their technical skills to assess risks properly. They pay attention to details, ensuring that all pieces of business are written in the best way possible.

You're great at:

  • Professional Liability Underwriting
  • Underwriting E+O, D&O, and Cyber lines
  • Relationship building and communication

You have:

  • 1-5 years of Underwriting experience
  • Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations
  • Strong customer service background
  • Team-first mentality
