Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Mini Retreat Childcare Inc. as a Program Development Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Child Development: Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support their growth and development.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative approach to child care and education.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of mutual respect and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Certifications: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, Food allergy and anaphylaxis training.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
