**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for costing and processing customer quotes on a timely basis for the Sales Department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Create layouts and mold concepts in CAD to estimate costs for customer designs
* Work closely with the Sales team to develop quotes that result in profitable orders
* Prepare timely estimates of costs for materials, labor, and equipment for manufacturing projects
* Collaborate with the Design Engineering department to ensure accurate quoting
* Review and revise layouts and process changes to pricing based on new information
* Negotiate project costs with vendors and subcontractors
* Communicate technical aspects of mold concepts to sales and engineering teams
* Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, manufacturing, planning, scheduling, and supply chain to identify and resolve manufacturing and costing issues

**Requirements:**

* Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an estimating role within the injection mold industry
* Experience in thin wall, closure, and custom injection molds
* Strong experience in mold assembly design and CAD technology
* Exposure to machining practices, process planning, and subcontracting experience
* Strong understanding of business concepts, gross margins, and job costing
* Intermediate level competency with MS Excel
