Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geologist in Training to join our Mine Engineering team at Gibraltar Mine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously developing safety skills and habits to ensure a safe work environment.

You will work closely with the Mine Engineering group, rotating roles as required, and contribute to mine geology and ore control initiatives. This includes completing daily Ore control field checks, communicating blend plans to mine and mill departments, and supporting ongoing Grade control improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong geological experience, particularly in mapping and logging of porphyry or similar deposit types, and open pit mine experience is an asset. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mineplan, Leapfrog Geo, and Wenco would be beneficial.
