Overview
Parsons Oman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rail Operations Engineer to oversee the efficient and safe operation of rail services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in automated people mover / metro systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Automated People Mover (APM) system.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and corporate policies.
- Implement best practices to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and direction for various phases of a significant rail program.
- Act as the company's representative with the Client during the execution of the APM program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Chartered Engineer status is ideal.
- 15+ years related professional experience in an Operations role of an APM, subway/metro, or commuter rail.
- Experience of working on CBTC Signalling & Train Control Systems.
- Automated People Mover (APM) implementation/operations/maintenance experience is preferred.
