About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fish Plant Labourer to join our team at Petit-Cap Fisheries Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for transporting fish and shellfish to the work area, conditioning fish filets for wrapping or freezing, and weighing and packing fish in ice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport fish and shellfish to the work area
  • Condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing
  • Weigh and pack fish in ice
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination
Work Environment

As a Fish Plant Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on efficiency and quality. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
