Our expertise includes heavy civil pricing work such as cofferdams, shoring, and in-water works.
We are currently working on prominent projects like the Samuel-De-Champlain Bridge and the Site C hydro-electric power station.
Job DescriptionThis role offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of complex projects.
You will work closely with our senior management to ensure timely completion and adherence to project milestones.
- Develop competitive tenders by reviewing tender documents and collaborating with the Senior or Chief Estimator.
- Build level 1 schedules using MS Project, incorporating resources and project milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of estimate data, including current prices from suppliers.
- Establish effective communication channels between subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Participate in internal bid review meetings to ensure project alignment with company goals.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
Previous experience in estimating civil construction projects
Experience with estimating software and systems, including adaptability to new tools
Knowledge of TPL Estimating software (asset)
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
