Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

CRUSADERS CARGO CARRIERS is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer, ensuring it is in good working condition
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining a high level of safety and compliance
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry
  • International, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial transportation experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
