Elevator Technician

Venture Elevator is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled Elevator Mechanic to install, maintain and repair elevators, escalators and moving walkways.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Installation and Maintenance: Assemble, install and maintain elevators, escalators and moving walkways, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring and control panel hookups.
• Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
• Training and Development: Provide training to apprentices and new team members on equipment operation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in elevator installation, maintenance and repair.
• Technical knowledge of elevator systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
• Certifications in elevator mechanics, such as the Canadian Elevator Industry Educational Program.
