Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, taking care to meet the needs of all guests.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility or arranging for extra towels.
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols.
- Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to guests and staff.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train.
- Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
