Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education licensing regulations and safety standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation for licensing purposes.
  2. Program Development: Lead the delivery of a high-standard inclusive Montessori program, meeting CCMA and AMI standards, and staying informed about provincial licensing requirements.
  3. Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community, building partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders, and establishing and regularly maintaining a waiting list of families.
  4. Staff Management: Lead and inspire our school team, guiding them towards reaching their full potential, and building a strong community among staff, parents, and children.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  2. Certifications: AMI or MACTE Certified Montessori Teacher, and registration and membership in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  3. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of Montessori experience and childcare management, with strong knowledge of Ontario's childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
  4. Skills: Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Competitive Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year.
