Job Title: Welding Specialist

At Hi Tech Diesel Garage Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.

Work Environment:

The Welding Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination and be able to sit or stand for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
