About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, taking into account customer dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen is clean and well-organized.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that all team members are up-to-date with the latest culinary techniques and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Work Environment

As a member of our kitchen team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
