About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team at Synpulse Schweiz AG. As a key member of our team, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of data and AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of our financial services clients.

About the Job:

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data and Gen AI workflows that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drive business success. In this role, you will interact with Clients, Business Analysts, and Engineers, performing the crucial task of analyzing and validating business requirements and translating them into detailed data and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership in data engineering and analytics, mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Architect data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, implement data solutions, and successfully deliver data projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Be responsible for the overall technical delivery of data projects, acting as a technical point of contact and escalation point for data-related questions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the data and ai space to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in data engineering or analytics, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in delivering data projects in financial institutions or enterprise firms. You should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with extensive experience in Spark and big data technologies, strong experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data platform solutions.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of Palantir Foundry is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex data challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in driving business-technology decisions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and all aspects of the data project lifecycle.
