Key Responsibilities:

As a Merchandising Clerk with Loblaw Companies Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are visually appealing and well-stocked. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Traveling to assigned retail locations to assist with store renovations and new store openings
  • Eliminating out-of-stock and out-of-date product from shelves, cleaning and adjusting shelves, and restocking merchandise
  • Assembling, setting up, and maintaining store fixtures, displays, and shelves according to Plan-O-Grams
  • Receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying accuracy of shipments, and ensuring merchandise is presentable for customers
  • Assisting with manual labor, cleaning, general maintenance, stockroom, and sales floor maintenance as needed

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Retail store experience with a solid understanding of overall store operations
  • Previous experience working with Merchandisers/Stocker is an asset
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle for transportation to different stores
  • Computer and software literacy, with the ability to learn software quickly
  • Flexibility to work any shift, predominantly overnight shifts, and willingness to work overtime as required
  • Extensive travel with excellent compensation rates provided
