Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Manager at SCOOPS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESTAURANT is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of our dining establishment. This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a managerial role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate budgets to assess costs related to food, beverages, and supplies
  • Analyze daily operations to enhance efficiency
  • Monitor financial performance to manage labor costs effectively
  • Oversee staff performance and provide necessary feedback
  • Organize and manage daily operational activities
  • Recruit and onboard new team members
  • Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage
  • Provide training and development for staff
  • Determine service offerings and establish operational protocols
  • Manage product and service pricing
  • Maintain and organize inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Negotiate with suppliers for food and necessary materials
  • Coordinate with clients for catering services and facility usage
