Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Test and Validation Expert to join our team at Intelliswift Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in a testing environment. They will be proficient in using test equipment such as network analyzers, wireless protocol testers, spectrum analyzers, DC power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Additionally, they will be familiar with test script software like Python, C#, and Matlab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Characterize RF and EE systems to ensure they meet specifications
  • Test and validate WiFi modules and RF front ends (RFFE) to ensure they operate within specified power consumption and thermal limits
  • Perform product and alternative module characterization
  • Test antennas and antenna chambers
  • Conduct mock-up tests and crossbody attenuation measurements
  • Characterize desense and perform testing through PER measurements and aggressors in the system
  • Highlight known issues and provide feedback to improve product quality
  • Ensure that the product meets international standards and troubleshoot or offer solutions for remedying the issue
  • Perform signaling and non-signaling testing
  • Validate sensor performance
  • Set and realign KPIs for sensing technologies
  • Develop testing procedures for sensors
  • Analyze factory test data for RF, EE, and Audio
  • Validate test data from the factory
  • Improve test procedures, data collection, and analysis
  • Debug failures remotely with the factory engineering team

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering testing environment
  • Knowledge of Radio and Electrical test equipment: network analyzer, wireless protocol tester, spectrum analyzer, DC power supply, and oscilloscope
  • Familiarity with test script software: Python, C#, and Matlab
  • Background: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Electronics program, or equivalent
  • Experience: Hardware Engineering test, validation, debug, and test automation

Salary Estimate

$110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on location and experience.
