Job Overview

SSP Canada is seeking a skilled Food Service Attendant to join our team at Tim Horton's restaurants located within Toronto Pearson International Airport. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve business objectives
  • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements

  • One year experience working in a food service environment is strongly preferred
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Verbal and written communication is essential
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests
  • Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
  • Food handlers permit
  • Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
  • Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
