Clothing Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clothing Designer to join our team at Jassal Tailors & Boutique LTD. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop clothing settings, scenic environments, costumes, and lighting that showcase our brand's aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with our team to plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of art and fashion design principles, with a focus on women's, children's, and men's clothing.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youths, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that all designs meet our brand's quality and aesthetic standards.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in fashion design or a related field.
  • Will train individuals with the right attitude and skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of art and fashion design principles.
