Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a MacLean Bolter Operator at our project in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This will be a 2-week on/2-week off rotation opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of various underground mining tasks, including installing ground support, performing duties safely using mechanized equipment, constructing and maintaining underground installations, following all policies and processes at the mine site and underground, and ensuring Health & Safety is the number one priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the MacLean Bolter safely and efficiently
- Install ground support as directed by supervisors
- Construct and maintain underground installations
- Foster a safe working environment through adherence to company policies and procedures
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an underground miner
- 2+ years of experience operating the MacLean Bolter
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 40 lbs. repetitively and on a regular basis
- Experience working with diverse crews and adapting to changing work environments
- Able to commit to a 2-week on/2-week off rotation schedule
