Job Title: Construction Laborer

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team at Dennis Construction Limited.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials. They will also perform pre-operational inspections, read blueprints to determine work requirements, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Transporting materials to and from job sites
  • Performing pre-operational inspections of equipment
  • Reading blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Cleaning and organizing work areas
  • Maintaining routine maintenance of equipment
  • Removing rubble and debris from job sites
  • Entering data into Excel or Word documents
  • Transferring handwritten data to digital formats
  • Shipping and receiving construction materials

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a valid driver's license. You should also possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to use the internet.

Physical Demands:

The Construction Laborer position requires the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You should be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
