Math and English Tutor Wanted

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time math and English tutor to join our team. As a tutor, you will work directly with students, helping them develop their math and language skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach math and English to students of various skill levels
  • Follow Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 1-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus, and Vectors
