About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Proto Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Support Services: Assist medical examiners, perform routine maintenance work, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Construction Support: Help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Asphalt Work: Pave and rake asphalt as needed.
  • Material Management: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
Requirements
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
