Job Title: Pharmacy Site Operations Leader

Uhnresearch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Site Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Pharmacy Services department, you will be responsible for supervising inpatient pharmacy operations and implementing pharmacy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Dual Hospital Pharmacy Operations Manager with all aspects of pharmacy operations;
  • Implement pharmacy projects to optimize the safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency of the hospital's drug distribution systems;
  • Provide direct and/or functional supervision of staff, including human resources management;
  • Maintain related policies and procedures, providing expertise in pharmacy automation, sterile and non-sterile compounding;
  • Represent pharmacy at various interprofessional committees and contribute to quality improvement activities within the department;
Requirements:
  • Completion of an advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) or Doctor of Pharmacy degree;
  • Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada;
  • Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacist, Part A;
  • At least 2-3 years of practical and related supervisory, management, or leadership experience;
  • Pharmacy practice in a hospital setting with up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy operations;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to manage workload with frequent changes;
  • Ability to plan and coordinate various assignments and projects;
