About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Swim Recruiting. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing tax planning and compliance services to our clients, and staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
* Provide tax planning and compliance services to clients
* Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of tax services
Requirements:
* CPA designation (Canadian or US)
* 7+ years of progressive work experience in accounting and tax
* People management experience (1-2 direct reports)
* Canadian and/or US corporate taxation skills
* Public practice training (from a midsize firm or Big 4 firm) to Manager or Senior Manager level
What We Offer:

Location:
Ideally based in Greater Vancouver, with the ability to work from the downtown office 2-3 days a week. Open to very qualified candidates living elsewhere in BC or in Alberta (working on PST hours).
