We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator/Quotations Specialist – Plumbing. This role will be responsible for managing projects, providing quotations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and process incoming calls and orders
- Work with the quotes team to transition won jobs into orders
- Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and the outside sales team to ensure timely delivery of project materials
- Contact current customers to identify new products and potential up-selling opportunities
- Enter orders into the system and source materials for customers when not in stock
- Maintain knowledge of current products and stay up-to-date on new products
- Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
- Support Counter Sales and handle returns as required
- Work closely with others to ensure customer needs are met
- Minimum grade 12 education required
- Minimum of two years' sales experience (counter sales, inside sales, or outside sales) required
- Post-secondary courses in Plumbing preferred
- Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, plumbing contractors, and the public
- Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset
