Pharmacy Technical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in the maintenance and operations of the pharmacy, adhering to Pharmacy Standards of Practice.
  • Manage cash registers, prepare and submit orders, and adjudicate third-party billing.
  • Answer phone calls, refer to pharmacists when necessary, and manage incoming faxes.
  • Accurately file documentation, enter data, and maintain pharmacy systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Associate-Owner and team members to achieve store goals.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college.
  • Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
