Job Title: Warehouse Management Director - Logistics Expert

Overview: Reimer Associates Inc. is seeking a seasoned Director of Fleet + Warehouse Operations to oversee the efficient management of our 25,000 square foot cross-dock operation with 7 doors, cooler, and freezer.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operations, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and manage the movement of goods, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement controls to ensure business continuity and compliance.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need 7-10 years of experience in warehouse and fleet management, with at least 5 years of director-level experience. A background in food distribution or non-profit sectors is preferred. Strong leadership skills, good communication, analysis, and pragmatism are essential. You must have a solid understanding of perishable goods, Health & Safety, and cleanliness. The ideal candidate can effectively manage and motivate a team, promote a positive work environment, and drive results.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
