Key Responsibilities

You will provide administrative support to a Senior Associate, Private Banking Services. As a Senior Associate, you will provide exceptional service to private banking clients by assisting them with their banking transactional needs and responding to their requests. This may include loan, mortgage, investment, or commercial loan needs. You will have sales targets and promote CIBC products and services to clients.

Success Factors

  • Client Service - Greet clients arriving for meetings and contact the appropriate person. Effectively handle client problems, concerns, or issues quickly or refer them to others as necessary. Respond to existing clients' financial needs when your manager is unavailable (including selling high-value products and services in accordance with established guidelines).
  • Operational Excellence - Respond to incoming phone calls and client requests to handle wire transfers/cables, visas, taxes, and bill payments, and ensure that requests are processed. Manage all fax requests for mandates, guarantees, currency exchanges, etc. and ensure that all requests are ready to be picked up by the client at the branch. Conduct complex inquiries for clients regarding account activity.
  • Sales Support - Assist your advisor in managing their portfolio by reviewing all client-related documents related to regulatory compliance and banking policies. Examine the client's portfolio and their financial needs from a holistic perspective. Identify opportunities to expand the client's product and service range. Regularly meet with clients to conduct less complex portfolio reviews and present new product and service solutions. Increase client retention and consolidation of Private Banking Services, Privabanque activities by knowing clients and establishing strong relationships and action plans to provide appropriate wealth management, credit, banking solutions, and investment advice for less complex portfolios. Ensure consistent excellence in all client touchpoints to meet the expectations of high-net-worth clients for service delivery and issue resolution. Continuously evaluate and analyze the risk and financial assessment of potential clients or existing high-net-worth clients. Ensure that all recommendations and actions meet all CIBC standards and guidelines regarding risk.
