About the Role

This Backend Developer position plays a critical role in our IT Wealth Management Delivery team. As a senior back-end developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying functions that ensure maximum value for our various business partners.

You will be part of a team that follows software development best practices, creating innovative technology solutions that support our growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy high-quality backend applications using Java, APIs, Microservices, DevOps, and AWS Cloud development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in Agile software development methodologies, working closely with designers, quality assurance, and other stakeholders.
  • Evolving development standards, processes, and techniques to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java development (REST/API, SpringBoot, Apache Maven, and Microservices).
  • Good knowledge of AWS Cloud is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins, Github, Harness, Docker) principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in an Agile software development role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strong team spirit.
