Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyperson Powerline Technician to join our team at The MEARIE Group. As a key member of our utility team, you will be responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of our electrical distribution system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform live line work on overhead and underground electrical distribution lines of up to 44kV.
  • Manage ESA permits and necessary locate requirements.
  • Service and trouble-shoot electrical related issues.
  • Ensure all work meets ESA and internal requirements.
  • Responsible for completing work / service orders within the allotted time frames.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician.
  • Excellent knowledge of the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power lines.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
  • Dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment for the protection of fellow employees and the general public.
