Job Title: Staff Product Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Engineer to join our team at Synopsys, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed SerDes physical interfaces and analog blocks to support it.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop layout circuit designs for high-speed SerDes physical interfaces and analog blocks.
  • Develop and implement ESD design constraints and latch-up risk mitigation techniques.
  • Design for reliability, including layout effects and design for matching, reliability, proximity effects, EM, IR, etc.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
  • Network with international teams and participate in corporate events.
Requirements:
  • MSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) with a solid background in transistor level and 5+ years working experience in layout circuit design.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about signal integrity, ESD design constraints, and latch-up risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with Unix and scripting languages (TCL, Python).
