Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As a Server Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast service in our Wildflower restaurant. Your warm and personalized attention will make our guests feel unique and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods
  • Clear tables/dishware in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Requirements:

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • BC Serving It Right Certificate required prior to commencing employment
  • Required to be of legal age (19 years old) to serve alcohol in British Columbia
