Job Title: Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Marketing Automation Canada.

Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our brand and products. This includes creating and executing event plans, developing policies, evaluating communication strategies, and overseeing the preparation of public written material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our brand and products
  • Create and execute event plans for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes
  • Develop policies and procedures for marketing and communications
  • Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
  • Oversee the preparation of public written material, including reports, briefs, and website content
  • Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids
  • Supervise staff and perform administrative tasks
  • Advise clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies
  • Answer written and oral inquiries
  • Coordinate special publicity events and promotions
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • Prepare sports, literary, performance, or other contracts
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in marketing and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software
