Job Description
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting providers and nurses with patient care, initiating patient flow, maintaining environmental areas of the clinic and examination rooms, entering data into electronic health records, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers and nurses with patient care
- Initiate patient flow and maintain a smooth workflow
- Maintain environmental areas of the clinic and examination rooms
- Enter data into electronic health records
- Perform various administrative tasks such as telephoning and record-keeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of adult and/or pediatric office practice
- Electronic Health Records experience helpful
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and transportation to other clinics as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- BLS Certification preferred
- Spanish language skills desirable
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $31,200 to $40,000
