Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and hire the best candidates for our agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the agency's staffing needs
  • Screen and evaluate job applications, conducting interviews and assessments as necessary
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize and coordinate staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks and other support staff as required
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
