Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Outreach Specialist to travel throughout the province, delivering direct clinical services to Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities. In this role, you will assess community capacity, work collaboratively within complex systems of care, and provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services to foster better outcomes for children and youth.

About the Role: The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, be registered or eligible for immediate registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and have a minimum of one year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families. They must also possess a valid class 5 BC Driver's license with no restriction or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical services to Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities through outreach and community-based activities.
  • Assess community capacity, identify existing resources, and work collaboratively with complex systems of care to optimize and strengthen them.
  • Deliver trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services, reducing the impact of trauma and empowering support networks to foster better outcomes for children and youth.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
