About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Creekers Bistro. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
