Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at Boyd Autobody & Glass. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for painting and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring a seamless finish and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Paint and refinish vehicles to a high standard, using a variety of techniques and materials.
  • Clean and maintain work space, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, using precision and attention to detail.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using a range of colors and finishes.
  • Repair or replace interior components, including upholstery and trim.
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs, using specialized equipment.
  • Mix paint, blend and match colors, ensuring a precise match to the original finish.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
