Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trades Helper to join our team at OIC Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to guarantee equipment safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs.
  • Efficiently clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires physical stamina, as tasks can be physically demanding.
  • Repetitive tasks are a part of the job, but we ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Handling heavy loads is a crucial aspect of this position.
Weight Handling and Safety
  • The maximum weight handling capacity is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
Personal Qualities and Experience
