About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Hakka Hut. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and replenish condiments and supplies.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
