Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat/Bakery/Deli Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading the Meat/Bakery/Deli department and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Meat/Bakery/Deli department, including staff training and development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety and food safety protocols
  • Manage inventory and merchandise to meet customer demand and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with other store departments to achieve business objectives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of management experience in a retail environment, preferably in a fresh food department
  • Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for a discount food store
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of store operations and policies
