Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Assembler to join our team at Crown Metal Packaging Canada LP.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and maintaining mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with conveyor systems, fans and blowers, high-speed packaging equipment, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Overtime may be required.
