**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Winland Foods, Inc. as a Data Warehouse Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and coordinating the technical execution of enterprise data warehouse solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Understanding: Investigate, analyze, and understand data contents of source data systems.
- Solution Design: Understands, uses, and adheres to dimensional modeling techniques for data warehouse design.
- Data Extraction, Transformation, and Integration (ETL): Define/Improve coding standards, comply with standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing, and deployment activities as established by departmental and organizational standards.
- Project Execution: Demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills and will bring communication skills including oral, written, and presentation skills, creativity, and problem-solving skills to a challenging environment.
- Data Warehouse Operations: Understands dependencies and timing issues between source systems and data warehouse operations.
- Business Process Expertise: Works directly with business process experts, Business Managers, BI Analysts, and IT Leadership to understand requirements for data warehouse development projects.
- Data Architecture Design: Design Data Architecture for DW components.
- UAT Activities: Drive UAT activities with business partners to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Long-term Strategy and Roadmap: Define, Develop, and lead implementation of long-term Strategy and road map for Data Warehousing, Data Science & ML.
- ETL Development and Testing: ETL development and testing using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend or Future technologies based on Roadmap.
- SQL Server/Snowflake Query and DDL/DML Scripting: SQL Server/Snowflake Query, DDL/DML scripting.
- SAP Business Object Data Services Understanding and Configuration: SAP Business Object Data Services understanding and configuration.
- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
- Power BI Understanding: Some Power BI understanding.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Required – Type: Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: ~9+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience.
- ETL Tool Experience: ~7+ years practical experience with any ETL tool with complex transformation business rules implementation.
- SSIS or ADF Experience: ~3+ years' experience with SSIS or ADF, Talend.
- SQL Query Experience: ~3+ years practical experience with writing SQL queries including complex queries.
- Data Warehouse Experience: ~5+ years practical experience working on data warehouse projects using dimensional modeling.
- Project Management and SDLC Understanding: ~ Ability to analyze the existing SSIS Code for improvements, enhancements, conversion, and problem solving.
- Cloud DW Experience: ~ Ability to execute data warehouse tasks in a timely manner without any guidance.
- Manufacturing Company Experience: Experience with Data Warehouse Design/Development in Manufacturing company.
- SAP ERP Experience: Experience in using SAP ERP as source system.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Experience in Cloud DW – snowflake and Azure Cloud Platform using Azure Data Factory, Talend, Fivetran/dbt or Matillion.
