Automation Systems Strategist

We're seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Strategist to join our team and play a key role in implementing and improving automated systems and processes at our main Fulfillment Center.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong analytical mindset and excellent negotiation/influencing expertise. As an Automation Systems Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and updating large-scale systems to meet functionality requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation: Develop effective automation solutions that improve process efficiency and reduce costs
  • Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity and quality
  • Documentation and training: Create and maintain documentation related to systems and processes, and provide training to operations and maintenance teams
  • Vendor management: Lead design and continuous improvement projects with vendors for equipment and software, and troubleshoot equipment issues
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing similar functions in a large automated facility
  • Strong understanding of distribution center processes and industrial automation principles
  • Prior experience working with retail operations systems, including order management systems, warehouse management systems, and distributed order management
  • Data analysis and reporting skills are an asset

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
