Your Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join our Canadian Tax team as a Strategic Growth Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating client business processes and advising on tax policy changes to meet market needs. You will develop proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client business processes and policies to identify areas for improvement and implement tax-efficient solutions
- Develop and implement proactive tax strategies to capitalize on business opportunities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to team members on Domestic Tax projects or assignments
- Identify and recommend tax planning opportunities for clients
- Build strong working relationships with clients and provide effective support for engagements
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax
- Completed CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program or Master's in Tax
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible time off, wellness initiatives, and reimbursement for professional development expenses.
