Job Description

This key member of our team will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to support the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, a strong background in DevOps practices, and a passion for automation and innovation. They will be responsible for utilizing their expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, reliable, and automated cloud infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AWS cloud environments to ensure performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess at least 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and/or Software Development with a focus on system administration and automation. They should have strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure Cloud Platform, and Snowflake, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef). In-depth knowledge and experience with CI/CD and IT automation tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline/CodeCommit/CodeDeploy, Artifactory etc.) are also required. Additionally, they should have experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. A solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, Domain Controller/Active Directory, data protection strategies, and expertise in implementing best practices for securing cloud infrastructure are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop resolutions are also required. Relevant certifications would be an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on experience.
